REGISTER AS SAFE & WELL
If you have been affected by a disaster, this website provides a way for you to register yourself as “safe and well.” From a list of standard messages, you can select those that you want to communicate to your family members, letting them know of your well-being.
Concerned family and friends can search the list of those who have registered themselves as “safe and well.” The results of a successful search will display a loved one’s First Name, Last Name, an “As of Date”, and the “safe and well” messages selected.

COPING TIPS FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS
As we know from tragedy of the recent tornadoes disasters may strike quickly and without warning. These events can be frightening for adults, but they are traumatic for children if they don't know what to do. During and after a disaster, children may become anxious, confused, or frightened. It is important to give children guidance that will help them reduce their fears.

ABOUT DONATIONS OF GOODS & COLLECTED ITEMS
Unsolicited, spontaneous donations of goods and services from individuals and community groups, though well intentioned, have hidden costs and pose a number of complications for relief efforts. For these reasons, the Red Cross is not able to accept any large collections of items, such as used clothing, hygiene items, furniture, toys, and canned goods. Nor are we able to accept small, individual donations of these items.
If you represent a company wishing to offer supplies in bulk, please contact Lori Bents at (612) 872-3239 or lbents@redcrosstc.org.
DONATE
If you are able to help the Twin Cities Red Cross fulfill its mission of preparing the public for emergencies and responding to disasters, please donate to the Twin Cities Red Cross.
All Red Cross disaster assistance is provided free of charge. Since the Red Cross gets no government money for disaster relief, it relies entirely on the generosity of financial donors.
